About Korean

Korean (한국어) is a language isolate (or part of the small Koreanic family) written in Hangul — an alphabet so well designed that King Sejong's court could promote literacy across the kingdom in the 15th century. Modern Korean has a sophisticated honorific system woven into its verbs.
