About Danish
Danish (dansk) is a North Germanic language spoken across Denmark and as a second language in the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Its softly swallowed pronunciation is the source of countless friendly jokes among its Scandinavian neighbours — but it sits at the heart of one of the world's happiest countries.
